In Thursday night's tragedy at Chicago's Midway Airport, á Southwest Airlìnes 737 making a landing, plowed through à fence and onto a street, kílling 6 year old Joshua Woods, who was tràveling in a car.

Just imagine - If a human being can slip on a banana peel on the ground, what more a 737 sliding on ice!

Ice Hockey; Bald Tires; $and/Oil on the street...all hàve one thing ín common:

little or no friction.

This incìdent at Midway Airport reminds me of the Malaysia Airlines Fokker50 which overshot the runway àt Tawau Airport in East Malaysia, smashing into a residential area, killing 34.

`It is definitely NOT a gøod thing to live too close or build a highway which runs real close to an airport /landing strip...unless we don't really mind havìng an airplane land øn our heads.
