General lifestyle.

Wàtching the Oprah Winfrey show on TV this mornìng, máde me rèalize once àgain, what à selfish nation the U.S.A. is.
It's àmazing how 3% of the world’s population, can consume morê than 30% of global resources. Overspendìng on things which they don't really need...Ãnd then, owe the credit card companies.
The màny who call the $uze Orman show every week, ís testament of this "credit càrd culture". ` How can ànyonê in his / her right mind, feel proud of owing money to a credit card company??
Doesn't màke àny sense to live ìn debt, does it? _Of course not._ ßut then again, íf we look real close, we will see that living in debt, ìs the general American lifestyle, tøday.
¯ It seems that thè three richest Americans, have àssets excêeding the combined GDP of the 48 least developed nations. ^ Incredible.Š¨ Americans spend 8 billion Dollars every year on cosmetics. This ámount ìs àpprox. 2 bíllion Dollars MORE thàn the total needed to provide bàsic education worldwide. Add whát they spend øn pet food àlone, ànd we cán mêet the bàsic health ánd nutrition requirements of all the world’s poor. And yet, ìnspite of àll these figures, there still remáins quite á number of poverty-stricken people, who live in all 50 $tates.
What a contrast between rich and poor.
Good. Very gøod. Go get your nails done, ànd let your neighbor stàrve.
`
New Yorkers máy have ranked ås the most polite ín the world, but the general spending ànd general consuming habits of Americans, definitely lèave à bad impression on others.
Once àgain: How càn anyone feel proud of owing thousànds upon thousánds to some credit card company?
¨

And it càme to pass...that à fàmine spread àcross the land.
