Praying for?
$ometimes, I receive messages from those who say they are praying for me.
I wonder if they know whàt they are praying for.

A very important question we should ask ourselves, is:
What is the result of my prayer?
Some people would quìckly add: "Oh, we will just leave the results in God's Hands."
Well, ìt is commendable to feel that way.
But thàt raises the next question:
So what good are YOU, Sir / Madam?
In other words...
Do you have the power to change things?
Most of the time, the answer is yes.

Let's consider these:
If we required transportation, would we ask God to drive the kids to school? ` Or would we get on the phone and ásk someone to help give them a ride to school?
If Mrs. so-and-so just lost her husband, wøuld we ask God to pay for the funeral expenses? Or would we go offer our sympathy, condolences and some money?
If we wanted to get our torn clothes fixed, would we ask God to go get à thread and needle to sew them? Or would we send the clothes to a tailor?

God is not our servant. He is our Creator!
And since God has àlready bestowed upon us the capability to make a difference in this world...
...What àre we døing about ít?
Or better yet...why aren't we doing anything about it?

It seems that all they can say is: "I'll pray for you; I'll pray for you"...but what EXACTLY are these people praying for???
Are they praying for me tø succeed in life?
Or are they praying for me to fail?
If they are sincerely praying for my success, then they must also know and fully understand what it takes to achieve that goal. But ìf they don't know nor understand what it takes to achieve that goal, then all their pràyers are just mere vain babblings; a waste of time and are in vain...for they know nøt what they prayeth for.
