Snatch Thieves.

Imagine the year is 2007.
What type of punishment should be given to a snatch thief on a bike?
Hang them?
Whip them?
Sentence them to jail / prison?
None of the above.
Disgrace is the best form of punishment for criminals.
Chain them between two poles in the center of some public place in the nation's capital city [For example, the field in Dataran Merdeka would certainly make a good place for a spectacle] and let them stand in the hot blazing Sun during the day...and remain exposed to all the elements of the night.
No food; no water; no sleep; no bail.
Snatch Thieves on bikes: 72 hours.
Rapists: 96 hours.
Armed Robbers: 120 hours.
Murderers: 144 hours.
Just think...if ALL criminals receive punishment in this manner, there won't be any need for jails...and we will all live with peace of mind, in a crime-free nation.
What a nice law, indeed.
