Yesterday, a Mandala Airlines Boeing 737 crashed just after taking off from Medan airport in Indonesia.
The plane was heading to Jakarta when it crashed into a residential area, just 1,500 feet from the runway. There were 117 on board. Don't know how many died, but some news reports said at least 30 on the ground were killed.
