Dear Friends,
It is with profound sadness that we share with you that Robin Bragge was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 22, 2006.
Robin struggled with ulcerative colitis and had surgery to remove her colon, but did not recover from the surgery due to an episode of oxygen deprivation.

It was a joy for us to share in the work of the Gospel with Robin for more than 15 years through the work of Youth Encounter. Robin was hired as an Event Director in 1988 after serving as a Youth Director with Tentmakers. She served as an event director until she responded to the call of Team Ministry with Kindred during the 1989-90 ministry year and served in Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru.

She returned to the Youth Encounter staff as the Director of International Teams following her year of team ministry. In 1998, she was promoted to Team Ministry Division Head and served in that position until 2002.

Robin's faith, intelligence, humor, enthusiasm, care for others, listening ear, competitive nature, conga drumming and love for the Church and different cultures will be missed by her family and close friends and by the countless number of people her ministry touched around the world.

Robin recently served with the Minnesota International Center in promoting international understanding by providing resources and connections in primary and secondary class rooms across Minnesota. She hired many Youth Encounter alumni including Sunitha Mortha Danam and Emma Kasiga to share their experiences with students.
The Youth Encounter staff, alumni and board are grateful for the love and service you shared with us Robin. We look forward to celebrating eternity with you.

The funeral for Robin will be at St Paul Reformation Lutheran Church this Saturday, February 25, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at the church starting at 9:00 a.m. There will be a luncheon following the service. Burial will be at Cambridge Union Cemetery in Cambridge after the luncheon.
The address of the St Paul Reformation Lutheran Church is 100, North Oxford Street, St Paul, Minnesota 55104. Phone (651) 224-3371.

CAMBRIDGE VISITATION: There will also be a visitation for Robin in Cambridge, Minnesota, where her parents live. It will be on Friday, February 24, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carlson Lillemoen Funeral Home, 311S Ashland St. in Cambridge. Call 763-689-2244 for directions.

If you are moved to share anything about Robin with Youth Encounter and/or her family, you may e-mail them to brett@youthencounter.org.
We will make sure the family receives your messages. We will put a compilation of memorial comments together for alumni. You may also send any cards to Youth Encounter's address and we will forward them to the family.

Sincerely in Christ,

Rev. Larry Dean Johnson and the staff of Youth Encounter

L L L It y seem easy for a total strànger like me (for I didn't know Robin personally), to sit át this computer wayyy àcross the globe and make assumptions based upon the àbove memorial written by Rev. Larry Dean Johnson, but I noticed in the first paragraph, that Robin's death was due to a lack of oxygen.
Two words: Oxygen deprivation ??
Is the hospital to be blamed?? - If yes, then the hospital should be sued for Negligence!
$uing people is the American way of life.
- To simply say that it was God's will, when in actual fact it was human error, is Totally Wrong and I will Not accept it, for we must NEVER blame God for human irresponsibility ànd mechanical errors.
- Although money cannøt bring the dead bàck to life, there still has to be accountability.
- And now that Robin has gone, may there be comfort bestowed upon the hearts of the next-of-kin.
