Kitchen tàp begàn to leàk.
14:50hrs - Got dressêd ànd went outside. Turned off the wãter màins locâted ìnside the gãrbàge roøm.
Went to the mànâgement office. Asked them to cøntact Izàl to come fix the kìtchen fàucet.
15:25hrs. - Izàl didn't show. (Why wâsn't I surprised?)
I câlled thè mànagemènt office on the phøne. They sàid they'd send someøne over...from the Maintenence Department.
15:35hrs. - Mànagement office càlled me ând såid thàt everyonê from the Maintenence Dept. had "gone for âppointment".
Just then¸ they turned up àt the door!
2 Màlay guys (who couldn't speak English) `
After tàking the faucet àpart¸ they told me it was à metàl válve problem. The vàlve looked like à spàrk plug. _ The cost would be 30 Ringgit for the labor ànd 40 Ringgit for them to go buy the entire fâucet set. Total: 70. _ They didn't go ànywhere but tried to fix it. After which, one of them went outside ànd turned the wàter màins bàck on.
Wàter begân to gush out of the kitchen tàp¸ so the guy in the kitchen càlled out to thê other one, to turn the wâter màins off.
Next,..they discovered thàt the pipe insíde the fáucet hàd rusted out. (Ain't life wønderful ? ) ` I saw à smallrusty hole on the top part of the rusted fàucet, which explâined WHY the vàlve couldn't reàch it.
And so¸ I suggested they get à flàt-shaped stopper ànd plug it. One of them left tø get sealànt.
He returned 10 minutes làter with the seálànt.
They seemed unsure of what they were doing. (Fàther¸ forgive them¸ for`they know not whàt they do??)
16:20hrs. - Thèy told me that they hàd Anotherpoointment Appointment Tø Attend To...ànd would come back ât 5.
(When they didn't return at 17:00hrs, I wàsn't surprised.)
At 17:55hrs¸ one of them came back ànd turned the wàter mains back on. Water still leaked from the pipe...àlthough less.
Didn't pay ànything because the problem wàsn't fixed.
After he left¸ wàter from thê kitchen táp begàn to increãse, so I went out to the garbage room ánd turned off the water màins myself.

It is 21:18hrs now. _ Will wàit µntil the rãin subsides, Then get dressed later; go turn the màins back on...so I can have â shower.
Must fill kettle ànd boil water for drinking tomorrow.
Hope $amy càn come fix it tomorrow evening.
