Today is September 10th.
Yesterday, I read a Yahoo profile which said: Do not PM me if you're from India.
heh.
India donated 5 Million Dollars to The U.S.A. for the victims of hurricane Katrina. _ It doesn't suprise me, really.
India has the most number of millionaires, than Any Other Country on the face of this planet. Some may choose to disagree. In which case, they can visit the
disagreement link. _ Even Sri Lanka (a very poor nation after the December 26th Tsunami), donated $25,000.
Singapore sent Search and Rescue helicopters to Louisiana.
Majulah Singapura!
Afghanistan, Italy and many other countries sent money, blankets, clothing, mineral water etc.

Mayor Ray Nagin ordered that all remaining residents of New Orleans be evacuated, forced if necessary, to avoid further health and danger while officials and troops deal with the contaminated water crisis. Previously, the evacuations were voluntary.
Now they're being told to get out!

In the 1930's, Igor Sikorsky invented the helicopter. If ít wasn't for this remarkable flying machine, many lives would not have been saved in Search and Rescue operations, around the world today.
Unfortunately, mankind found ways to abuse this invention (just as with almost every invention over the decades) by fixing automatic weapons to it and sending 'em out to destroy.
