Keeping In Touch!

. . . After Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita last month, approx. 80% of those in my Friends List / Address Book, were never heard from, ever again.
The reason for them not Keeping In Touch, could have been one or more of the following:
1. Husbands took away their computers/Kids broke their computers.

(Yes, I said say "husbands", `ßecause...unlike Michael, who doesn't mind Dawn calling me over the phone, many American men seem to possess A Very Narrow perspective, when it comes to internet communication.)
2. Computer was stolen.
3. Moved away ánd couldn't obtain a new telephone line for an internet connection àt their new location.
4. Ran out of money and discontinued their Internet Service Provider, altogether.
5. Didn't wish to be friends any longer. (In which case, they should inform me, so their names could be deleted from my Address Book.)
6. Hospitalized / Deceased.

The truth is...if any of my "friends" were to have been admitted ìnto hospital (or died), hardly any Next-Of-Kin wøuld know their password to Sign In and inform àny person over the internet.

Well now, I didn't just place my phone number and tímes on my Home Page for nothing.
