Breakfast before Monfort.
The time was 08:15hrs.
I had Yong Tau Foo, Char Siew Pau and Nescafe for breakfast this morning at a Chinese coffee shop, whilst waiting for Gerry and Veronica to turn up, so we'd go sell both our albums at Monfort Boys Town's open day.
The last time I actually HAD breakfast was...uh, um, ... uhh, I can't remember. (Yeah, it's been that long...and I usually go to bed after sunrise, anyway.)
We arrived at Monfort Boys Town in Batu Tiga, Shah Alam at approx. 09:45hrs.
There were flags and streamers adorning the entrance to this huge area.
I saw balloons and food stalls and games - and there were live performances in the main hall, across from where our table was. Our table was right in front of the DJ console.
People purchased booklets of coupons to pay for everything. Each small booklet cost ten Ringgit. This was the first time we sold both our albums in exchange for coupons, which were placed in a large metal box.
16 copies of both CDs were sold this morning.
I was real happy when the DJ played "We Are One In Your Name" twice, and "A Change Of Heart" once. I walked around the grounds of this open-air place, to see (or should I say 'HEAR') how "We Are One In Your Name" sounded...and it was nothing less than perfect! The vocals sounded great; the overall EQ sounded great; the musical instruments sounded wonderful...so, what do all these mean?? - It means that "In The Name Of The Father And Of The Son and Of The Holy Spirit© is a masterpiece. I realize now, that the overall production of this CD, truly IS the benchmark for all future local Gospel albums in this country. I never imagined how good this song would sound, on a large sound system in an open-air environment. Today, it was proven unto me. - Thank You, Jesus.
Praise The Lord!
There was also a show by The Malaysian Yo-Yo Club. A totally stunning performance, indeed. Their display of skill, must have taken years of practice.
Well, as the saying goes: Practise makes perfect.
Exactly one year ago today, we were at The Heritage Center in Petaling Jaya.
Today, we were at Monfort Boys Town.
Where will we be one year from today?
Only God knows the future. It is up to us as believers, to trust Him in leading us in the right direction, according to His will.

It is now 16:53hrs - and I guess I'll go get some shuteye, since I went to bed at 06:30hrs and awoke an hour later.
Yes, today is a happy day for me.
